Hi all, currently I am under the Telus Internet 150 plan using the T3200M router/modem that was provided to us. Recently, I'm finding that there are some wifi dead spots in the house and I am thinking whether this can be fixed by replacing the T3200M with a 3rd party router (currently eyeing the TP-Link AC1900). Modem LAN 1 and Router WAN is correct. Make sure your router is not sharing the same 192.168.1.x subnet. I had mine set to 192.168.10.x and I could still access 192.168.1.254 fine after that.

Login to the Actiontec router admin panel at 192.168.1.254. The default username is admin and password is telus. Note the router will likely ask you to change the default password the first time around. Disable the wireless by click on Wireless Setup and selecting “Disable” for Wireless Radio and clicking Apply.
